Silver (SI=F) Deep Dive | Bullish Rebound on Oversold Technicals | 2026-10-09
We maintain a bullish bias on Silver (SI=F) with a target of 61.775, invalidation below 57.555. The metal remains structurally oversold after a sharp 20-day decline of 8.48%, yet technical indicators point to a mean-reversion setup. While spot prices have corrected from the 20-day high of 68.105, the current settle of 59.424 sits near the lower boundary of the 20-day channel, offering a favorable risk-reward for a rebound. Inventory data shows a slight accumulation on COMEX, but the broader positioning suggests managed money is reducing exposure, creating potential for a squeeze if prices stabilize. The gold-silver ratio remains elevated at 69.95, indicating silver is lagging gold, which historically supports relative outperformance in a recovery phase. We expect a bounce toward the first resistance at 60.599 and potentially the second resistance at 61.775, provided the daily close holds above 58.489.
