Bearish. The main iron ore contract closed at 674.5 in the night session, with significant short positions. The net short position of the top 20 seats narrowed by 2477 hands to 43236 hands compared to the previous close, but the scale remains huge, showing that shorts still dominate. The China tax-adjusted premium has fallen to 7.09% (from 8.12% 5 days ago), narrowing the gap between international and Chinese markets. Technically, the price is below the 20-day range of 660-709 and approaching the lower support. If the night session closes below 670, it opens downside space, with upside limited by the 680.5 resistance. Invalidated condition: night session close back above 678 or break above 680.
